A story only a mother could listen to...

I just wanted to share a snippet of the torture I go through on a daily basis. On average, I hear about ten stories just like this, each and every day. Sometimes, it's actually the SAME story over and over again!! Makes you kinda feel sorry for me, doesn't it?

You'll get the gist of the clip very soon after it begins. So, feel free to quit watching after the fifth, or tenth, or 700th, "um." I kept trying to stop recording, for the protection of your sanity...but, the kid kept saying, "Wait, my story wasn't over yet." Then we had to start over, and I almost wished I was the naked girl in the bathtub, and that some knife wielding man would come and put me out of my misery!!

P.S. I showed the kid the video...you know, tried to give him a taste of his own medicine...and this is what he said:

TOWGAWM: "Mom...um...you know that part in the video...when you...um...asked me if, um, that girl was naked?"

Me: *OMG...are we seriously doing this? Way to go, Nikki, now look what you've gone and done!*"Yeah??"

Him: "Well, um, I almost said a bad word on the video."

Me: "What were you gonna say?"

Him: "Well, um, when you asked me if she was naked...I was gonna say...HECK YEAH SHE WAS NAKED!" *maniacal laughter ensued*

He's such a freakin' perv!!

LOL!! That's too funny. I too have moments like that with my own child. I tell her "Spit it out!!" LOL

The movie he was referring to sounds like "Mirrors" with Keifer Sutherland.

Oh my gosh! I nearly spit out my drink laughing. Your son is absolutely adorable.

My dear husband introduced my 6 year old son to Austin Powers. He went to school telling everyone how the woman could shoot people from her boobs. At Halloween the two of them went as Dr. Evil and Mini Me and my son asked me if I could be Felicity Shagwell. He said that his friend told him she was named that because she shags a lot. Great.

He is so cute! Looks like you've got a future author on your hands. I can see why that would wear you out. My little one is a story teller, too, but at three is not that detailed yet. Thank goodness! :)

Um...he um...he um...is SO CUTE!!! But, I do feel for you, as I not only did not have to watch the whole video (and didn't) but I also don't have to listen 10 times per day. Obviously, you are a saint.

Apparently all of us have You Tube banned at work, which is consequently where we do our blog reading. :o) I just watched it and he is so freakin cute. A bit long winded, but when you asked him if she was neked (tee hee I think your slight accent is cute) he got this look in his eye that had me cracking up!
