Everyting gonna be irie…

I think he’s gonna make it.

IMG_0053

He’s coming around.

Starting to look like his old self.

IMG_0095

He’s a slower, wobblier, more banged up version of his old self…but, a version we can live with, just the same.

IMG_0062

All of his plumbing works.  He just needs a little help taking care of business.

We don’t mind helpin’ a brotha out.  We’re just glad he’s here.  Not many weenie dogs take on a full size truck, and live to tell about it.

The broken pelvis will keep him from running in the weenie dog races this year, in Austin, as planned, but, maybe he’ll be up to cheering for his friends and scoping out the competition for next year!

I was worried sick about my pup…and am so glad that it looks as though, he’ll make a full recovery!

Glad the little guy is getting better. Wont be long and he will be having all the lady dogs around the yard pimping around. Maybe he can keep the limp and strut it out

I had weener dogs growing up, and I just loved them - and I am not even a dog person! The pictures just made me nostalgic for Amber and Lady (yes, I gave my dogs the lamest names ever!) Glad he's doing alright, even if he does have to face the indignity of not being able to pee without assistance!

I'm glad it looks like he'll make a full recovery. I agree with Donnetta, next year those other weinies will be afraid of mr scar face!

Oh my, your poor doggie! My blog reader was acting crazy, so I missed lots of people's updates recently, and definitely missed the one about your poor little guy. So glad he will recover.

scott - oh yeah...he's got all kinds of swagger, now!!

samantha - hell, at the rate he's recovering...he just might try to run this year!! he's surprising me every single day!

donnetta - he does look like quite the badass!! with his spiked collar and those staples! wonder if they'll let us keep the staples in him?

stacey - he's doing better every day!

SIF - i didn't think i was a dog person either, until i was crying in the vet's office!!! oh...he's pride is crushed! while he's peeing, he looks over his shoulder at me, like, "really? you already cut off my balls, lady, now you have to hold up my ass while i pee???"

kam - seriously thinking about changing his name!!!

brooke - it was a close call!!

stesha - thanks...those eyes do speak volumes!! especially right after the accident...those eyes were screaming, "WTF??!!??"
